Hearty Pot Roast

Ingredients
- 4 lb Beef Pot Roast, raw
- 2 tbls Corn Oil
- 3/4 cup Onions
- 2 tsp Table Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tsp Paprika
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 leaf Bay Leaf
- 1 1/2 cup Water
- 1 tbls Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, enriched, bleached
Directions
- Place the meat and oil in a Dutch oven over medium heat. Cover and brown over medium heat, turning to brown on all sides.
- Add onions and continue browning. Add seasonings and water. Cover and cook over low heat for 2 hours, or until meat is tender.
- Mix flour with a little water and stir into the gravy. Cook 10 minutes longer. Remove bay leaf before serving.
- Suggested to serve with potatoes.
